Tips for my advisees:
For Registration:
- Check the prerequisite/corequisite requirements for all the courses
you want to register for every semester.
- Check to make sure the
courses you want to register don't overlap.
- If you decide to delay taking
a required course, make sure you investigate how this will impact your
course schedules in other semesters and especially your graduation date! I
have seen students get into very diffucult situations on this matter.
- Don't register for more
number of courses than what you can handle. You know your capacity and
limitations better than anyone else. Never get carried away and be very
careful not to overload yourself.
- Please fill out the
registration form completely before you visit my office for
advanced registration.
- E-mail me your specific
questions ahead of time. I will do my best to respond to your questions.
- Inform me about your academic
performance (especially if you are not doing so well).
- You can always visit
my office for questions and/or advise on any matter. I will be glad to
help in anyway I can.
