Aging characteristics of alloy 2024 sheet (ASM Handbook, Volume 4). Note, hardness and tensile strength are directly related (but are not the same thing). The data was recorded at ROOM TEMPERATURE - after exposure to various temperatures/times; therefore, the changes in strength are due to changes in the microstructure (such as aging and overaging).

Rockwell B scale hardness data from long duration aging (for a material with hardness of 56 on the Rockwell B scale it is written as 56 HRB).
